Police seize 400 marijuana plants in Coaticook, two arrested

COATICOOK — The Sûreté du Québec say they conducted a drug raid today at a house located on rue St-Jacques Nord, in Coaticook.
 
Police say the investigation opened up after a public tip came in that there was a marijuana grow opperation at the location.

Onsite, some 400 plants were seized, along with several kilos of marijuana.
 
The two resident at the house, a 30-year-old man, and a 26-year-old woman, have been arrested and will appear in court at a later date, in connection with the bust.

The man arrested was known to police and has a criminal record for previous drug arrests, police say.
