SHERBROOKE — A 39-year-old man from Coaticook wanted by police was captured today in Sherbrooke.
The Sûreté du Québec say Raymond Champagne was wanted for an incident that took place on April 19, at around 5 p.m. in Coaticook.
They say he was involved in an assault that caused injury and harm to another individual.
He was also wanted for criminal harassment.
Police originally thought he might be in the regions of St-Élie d’Orford and Saint-Évariste-de-Forsyth.
They were on the lookout for his vehicle throughout the region.
