MAGOG — Police say they have located the missing teen from Magog who ran away from home on April 12.
Julie Robidoux-Taillon, 16, of Magog, was located last night in Prince Edward Island, with a friend.
“She was in good health and has even contacted her mother,” said Paul Tear, of the Memphremagog Police Board.
Police say that having no reason to fear for her safety and with no warrant against her, police could not detain her when she was located.
The case was handed over to the Direction de la protection de la jeunesse, and a warrant was issued to bring her back to Quebec.
Robidoux-Taillon was last seen in Magog on the night of April 12, when she left her family’s home following a domestic dispute.
