Free theatrical performance at Stanstead College this Saturday

STANSTEAD — Stanstead College presents a free public performance of the comedy Oscar by Claude Magnier this Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Pierce Hall.

Admission is free.

Translated and adapted for use at Stanstead College, the comedy is set in 1920’s New York City and follows a businessman who finds his life unraveling around him all on one day.

The cast and crew includes Ginger Jabbour Abboud (Mexico City), Alex Bimm (Montgomery, Vt.), Sophie Legler (Candiac, Que.), Alison Barlow (Newport, Vt.), Misha Hubacek (Montgomery Center, Vt.), Alex Liddell-Grainger (Hemmingford, Que.), Abby Murray (Stanstead, Que.), Jordan Laroche (Hong Kong) and Morgan Ireland (Stanstead, Que.)

Directed by teacher Marilee Andres, the two-act play is suitable for all ages, and all are welcome.
