Police: Noise complaint leads to arrests in Magog

MAGOG — A simple noise complaint led to the arrest of two people at a home on rue Ste-Catherine in Magog on Wednesday night.

The incident took place just after midnight, after police received calls complaining of noise at the location.

During the intervention police say they recognized a man they knew to be under conditions not to leave Sherbrooke and not to consume drugs.

Police say when arrested for breach of conditions, the 35-year-old man from Sherbrooke was found in possession of four grams of marijuana.

He was held and appeared in Sherbrooke courthouse this morning.

The tenant, a 25 year-old woman, was also arrested for possession of marijuana, and released on a promise to appear in court.
